When we needed a realtor, we asked trusted friends for referrals. The Lichman Group was one of those referrals and they returned our call promptly and professionally. I was impressed during our conversation and quickly made the decision to work with them. Kari Lichman explained that she works with buyers and her husband, Jason Lichman, works with sellers. Our plan was to first sell our house, and then buy another in a near-by city, therefore we had the pleasure of working with Jason first. Jason Lichman arrived for our appointment on time and well prepared. We felt at ease with him right away, and could tell he was a good person. He clearly explained the trends for the neighborhood and the comps for our property. Jason listened to us as we explained our situation and our desire for a fast sale. He suggested a listing price and provided us with an estimated profit range. Throughout the sale process, Jason provided frequent updates and was quick to respond to our questions. Jason provided top-notch service including scheduling and access for cleaning and repair crews. He even brought in a professional stager and a professional photographer to make sure that our home's listing and web presence was the best it could be. We quickly sold the house in our desired timeframe and profited from the sale exactly as he had predicted. We moved into a rental and were not in a hurry to buy the next property. We wanted to have time to find our perfect dream home. At first we didn't exactly know what neighborhood we wanted to move into or even what our budget was. Kari Lichman was patient and informative. She even provided us with a customized home search web portal that helped us identify our desired neighborhood and realistically set our expectations for home pricing. We found "the one" and Kari responded quickly and thoroughly. She was the most organized person I have ever worked with and kept us well informed. The home we wanted came with some unique challenges and Kari was on top of it, seeking answers to questions before I even knew I had them, and saving us money throughout the process. Even after we closed on the home, Kari continued being a resource and a friend. If you are looking for a realtor to help you buy or sell a home in central Texas, call the Lichman Group! Seriously. Don't waste your time with anyone else.

In the spring of 2016 my husband and I were given the opportunity to move to the Austin area for new jobs. We were excited for the opportunity but scared to buy a home because of how fast homes were moving on the market. After meeting Kari at an open house, we knew that she was going to be the perfect realtor to work with. She was constantly asking us questions, trying to figure out what exactly we were looking for. She took the time and showed us multiple homes on weekends and during the evening. When we finally found the right house, she worked with us to get the price down to something we felt comfortable with. Kari was very responsive whenever we had any questions (even when it was about the house we were selling in a different city). From start to finish, I knew that Kari had our backs in the buying process. Without her help, I really don't think we would have ended up with a house as great as we did!

Both Kari and her husband are very professional, warm and caring people. They went above and beyond to help me find a home that was perfect for my family. Both Jason and Kari are an abundant resource of information. They go above and beyond to ensure they are protecting your investment and that the process will go as smoothly as possible. From ensuring that we have everything in place for the closing to consultations regarding the initial steps of evaluating the sale of our home- everything was top notch. We discovered the Lichman Group when a nearby neighbor's house sold after just forty-eight hours on the market. We asked him who his agent was and he gave us the contact information for the Lichman Group. When we put our own house on the market just a few months later, Jason Lichman was the only agent we interviewed. He was the perfect fit for our situation. He knew the neighborhood well, made himself familiar with the particulars of our situation, demonstrated immense patience with first-time sellers' nerves, humored our two-year-old, found us reliable contractors to complete updates on our house, went out of his way to make sure the updates were done in time for inspection, kept us on task and on schedule, advised us well--but impartially--about how to handle the multiple offers on our house, and treated us with utmost respect and kindness. (And on a side note, he found us reliable contractors and other professionals to help us with two other houses we owned and needed to lease and/or sell located out-of-state! That was above and beyond what we hired him to do.) When we moved away, we felt like we were leaving a friend behind. Our house sold in approximately forty-eight hours and that was because Jason marketed it so professionally and advised us to choose a price that was reasonable for the time and place. It must be difficult to talk to sellers about a realistic price for their house, but he did it well and it worked! A few months after we sold our house, we had to sell my dad's house in another state to settle his estate. The agent we worked with there was fine, but was not Jason Lichman. And we truly missed his professionalism and his honest, practical advice.
